Our senior vice president of operations is involved in the selection of all team members, ensuring each has the certifications, technical expertise, and service skills necessary to deliver CoreSite customers with the CoreSite Commitment.

CoreSite data center personnel have completed the Corning TS LAN 500 and are versed in all aspects of multimode and single-mode types of fiber optic cable installation in a local area network (LAN) environment. Operations team members have extensive hands-on experience in cable placement, fusion and mechanical splicing, cable termination and acceptance testing.

CoreSite data center personnel are experienced in fiber splicing: applications, fusion, mechanical and termination methods connections using Corning Cable Systems UniCam LC, ST Compatible, and SC in addition to anaerobic and heat-cured connectors.

DEMAND MORE | CERTIFICATION

CoreSite Operations team members have received Mohawk (MAC) certification, meaning they have received the necessary 7 BISCI points and trained either directly under a Mohawk RCDD instructor or approved Mohawk connectivity partner. All CoreSite data center personnel have been trained and are experienced in the fundamentals of telecommunication and Internet Protocol.
