Tentative Date: October 1, 2009
Region: San Francisco Bay Area
The next Any2 Meeting is tentatively scheduled for October 1st in the Bay Area. As soon as more information becomes available, including the venue, we will release it on the Any2 blog, our invite list, Any2 Member’s Update mailing list, and on this page. Make sure you receive an invitation by joining the CoreSite sign-up list.
CoreSite welcomes speakers and “lightening” talks from existing Any2 participants. You are also welcome to take this opportunity to present on a new technology, process, or vision. To submit your company for consideration, please send an e-mail to Any2@CoreSite.com and we will review.
Presentations are limited to 20 minutes, subject to availability, and are prioritized by CoreSite's Any2 team. In addition, participating organizations are welcome to give a brief introduction of their network, or "peering personal” (quick elevator pitch on products and services) to other attendees.
Again, please e-mail Any2@CoreSite.com with any speaking request and we will review. As a final note, 20 minute presentations should be for the good of the community, putting emphasis on the new innovation and not a corporate Sales pitch. Please keep the interests of the community in mind when drafting your content.
All content must be submitted to Mark Jobson, Marketing Director, for review no later than one week prior to the start of the event.
We look forward to seeing you at the next event.

Members will also be given the opportunity to present their networks, concepts, or visions of interest to the Any2 community. Just let us know the topic, and plan for a 10-15 minute presentation.
Following the formal part of the member's meeting we will have facility tours available, or an open networking time for our members and guests to talk informally, sharing ideas, and learning more about the Any2-connected community.
Any2 California added its 150th member in October, and we would like to congratulate all members for reaching this exciting plateau. Every new member adds tremendous value to the community, and we hope to continue growing Any2 as an excellent opportunity to help all networks peer, reduce operational expenses, increase network performance, add additional resiliency and disaster planning utility, and most importantly simplify the process of interconnections.
The growth of the Any2 Exchange is an exciting event within both our tenant and customer community, as well as those members participating in the exchange from outside of our data centers. If you are not an Any2 member, this event is an excellent way to learn more about the Any2 Exchange, as well as meet many of the members who have worked together to bring this exciting community together as one of the largest Internet exchange points in the United States.

New Market Peering Any2 Meeting | November 28, 2007
Theme: Building an Internet Exchange Point in Major Carrier Hotels
Wednesday, November 28, 2007, 5:30pm-6:00pm
The carrier hotel is a logical location for Internet Exchange points given the high density of carriers, content delivery networks, network service providers, and VoIP companies. Exchange points serve several purposes, ranging from reducing operational expenses associated with transit network and wholesale access, to performance enhancement, to disaster recovery points. The carrier hotel is uniquely suited to serving all those needs via Internet exchange points, as well as offering a powerful location for new exchange service development.
