Our Senior Vice President and head of Operations, Dominic Tobin, is involved in the selection of all Operations team members, ensuring they have the certifications, technical expertise, and service skills necessary to deliver CoreSite customers with the care they deserve.

Fiber Cable Training
CoreSite data center personnel have completed the Corning TS LAN 500 and are versed in all aspects of multimode and single-mode types of fiber optic cable installation in a local area network (LAN) environment.
Operations team members have extensive hands-on experience in cable placement, fusion and mechanical splicing, cable termination and acceptance testing.
CoreSite data center personnel are experienced in fiber splicing: applications, fusion, mechanical and termination methods connections using Corning Cable Systems UniCam LC, ST Compatible, and SC in addition to anaerobic and heat-cured connectors.
Copper Cable Training/Certification
CoreSite Operations team members have received Mohawk (MAC) certification, meaning they have received the necessary 7 BISCI points and trained either directly under a Mohawk RCDD instrucor or approved Mohawk connectivity partner.
Telecommunications Training
All CoreSite data center personnel have been trained and are experienced in the fundamentals of telecommunication and Internet Protocol.
