CoreSite’s Internet exchange, Any2, is widely recognized as one of the largest in the United States. Any2 allows you to directly connect to Internet routes or content needed to improve your business. Additional benefits include saving money on transit Internet, improving performance by eliminating intermediate networks, and supporting improved disaster recovery planning.
Any2 is a layer 2, IPv6-supporting, physical network switch that facilitates the exchange of Internet traffic between Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and content networks. CoreSite customers utilizing Any2 will negotiate peering agreements directly with the desired network(s), order their interconnection from CoreSite, and then begin exchanging IP traffic locally or internationally. Customers must have connectivity to the global Internet and a registered Autonomous System (AS) Number from a Regional Internet Registry such as ARIN or RIPE to peer on Any2.
Networks can peer with other customers within a CoreSite data center or via multiregional interconnection with CoreSite’s Any2 distributed exchange points: Any2 California (900 N. Alameda, One Wilshire, 55 S. Market, and 1656 McCarthy), Any2 Northeast (Boston, New York, Northern Virginia, Washington, DC) or Any2 Northern California (1656 McCarthy and 55 S. Market). Additionally, customers may select Any2Easy, CoreSite’s route server offering, that allows one network to instantly establish more than 100 peering relationships without cost or the hassle of executing individual contracts. Any2Easy offers an average of 25,000 available routes at any given time.
Any2 fully supports IPv6 throughout the exchange infrastructure, as well as offering all participants reverse DNS lookup and no-cost IPv6 address support. CoreSite welcomes remote access networks (networks without a physical point of presence within a CoreSite data center) to peer on Any2, providing that they assume the cost of connectivity to the CoreSite data center.

Private peering is not available between geographically distributed Any2 locations. For additional information on Any2 please contact Sales@CoreSite.com.
CoreSite makes peering even easier with Any2Easy, our route server offering. Bob Evans from the Fiber Internet Center built Any2Easy, with the intent of giving Any2 participants a single point where they could automatically peer with many networks and reduce the need to establish numerous individual peering relationships. Fiber Internet Center continues to act as the administrator and technical support for Any2Easy.
Any2Easy fully supports IPv6 peering.
