We’re Rolling Out 400GB in Select Internet Exchange Regions; Regional Promotions Include Free and Discounted 1GB, 10GB and 100GB Ports
Once in a while, it’s important to state the obvious. So, first we’ll say that data must move to be useful, these days at GB/sec+ speeds. Second, enterprises, internet services providers and data centers need internet connection to give or get data. An internet exchange allows you to move data fast, keep local traffic local (when desired) and avoid indirect transit paths that increase latency and broadband costs.
400GB Increases Bandwidth by 4X

We’re happy to share that CoreSite has achieved a new ultra-high bandwidth milestone by offering 400Gbps bandwidth and a higher performance network backbone. 400G is available at select Any2Exchange® regions, including Any2Denver and Any2LA. By increasing bandwidth by 4x, customers can have a more seamless and robust path to connect with their peering partners.
CoreSite has been delivering peering benefits for decades. Now, as part of our Any2Exchange 400GB launch, we’re offering free and discounted 1GB, 10GB and 100GB ports.
The Peering Promotion
The promotion is open to companies new to CoreSite and to CoreSite customers, with one exception. Any2West® customers who want to upgrade to 400GB aren’t eligible. Otherwise, companies new to peering can evaluate Any2Exchange at no cost, and customers who upgrade to higher bandwidth ports or enter new markets can save money.
To recap, if you fall into one of the categories below and want more information, let’s talk!
- Not yet a CoreSite customer
- A CoreSite customer new to Any2Exchange
- A CoreSite customer who wants to enter a new market (for example, Any2West customers expanding via Any2Denver)
We’re waiving installation costs and discounting Any2Exchange ports by 50% to 100%. Non-recurring charges are being waived for all regions for a limited time. We offer month-to-month terms with no equipment contracts, and you can switch services on or off as needed.*
Send More AI Data Faster
Instead of moving inference data in chunks via multiple transfers, move an entire data set via a high-bandwidth port and a one-to-one connection.
Peering Enables Direct Data Flows that Reduce Latency, Cost and Complexity
When networks aren’t peering, data flows through multiple networks as it moves. This increases the distance data travels, slows data transit and can increase costs created by IP transit fees.
With peering, you can potentially expect to:
-
Lower latency so data reaches its destination swiftly
-
Reduce transit costs
-
Move data using predictable cost models
-
Increase redundancy and resilience for mission-critical traffic
-
Increase control over routing and traffic engineering
-
Localize routing to keep regional traffic in-region
-
Gain direct access to high-value cloud, content and gaming networks
-
Improve user experience for streaming, SaaS, gaming and real-time apps
-
Access cloud and edge services easily
Additionally, as your business grows, you can increase bandwidth to manage higher traffic flows.
Replace Link Aggregation Setups to Save Money and Increase Efficiency
Are you combining multiple 100G ports via link aggregation groups (LAG) to move data?
Use one 400G port instead to lower cost, increase traffic efficiency and simplify management.
Our Internet Exchange Regions
CoreSite owns and operates the second largest internet exchange (IX) in the U.S. Why does this matter? The more members, the more opportunities you have to exchange data to reach new customers and enter new markets quickly and cost effectively. To enhance our IX services, we’re rolling out 400G – the latest wave of peering technology – across our regions. Some markets have 400GB now, and the rest of our markets will have 400GB by the end of the year.
