About Amazon Web Services

AWS Direct Connect is a network service that provides an alternative to using the Internet to utilize AWS cloud services. Using AWS Direct Connect, data that would have previously been transported over the Internet can now be delivered through a private network connection between AWS and CoreSite.

AWS Direct Connect is available through the CoreSite Open Cloud Exchange in seven markets: Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Denver, Chicago, New York, Boston and Northern Virginia. By utilizing AWS Direct Connect in a CoreSite data center, you can increase the performance, reliability and security of your AWS applications and workloads. CoreSite’s access to AWS Direct Connect makes it easy to establish a high-capacity, secure connection to the entire suite of AWS cloud services

AWS offers a broad set of global compute, storage, database, analytics, application, and deployment services that help organizations move faster, lower IT costs, and scale applications.
