The first purpose-built data center in downtown Chicago, CoreSite’s CH2 supports customers’ high-density requirements and enables connectivity to cloud, network and IT providers needed to accelerate digital transformation and meet hybrid and multicloud demands.

Our modern CH2 data center space of more than 169,000 square feet and 18 MW is ready for custom buildouts, supported with state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical infrastructure, 24x7x365 security, field operations, remote hands and customer service. The roof access at CH2 provides line of sight across Chicago. Optimized connectivity access is achieved through the three separate, diverse fiber entry routes into the data center.

CH2 also has sustainability focused construction features and was recognized as an Energy Star building. New and existing customers at CH2 can take advantage of the Illinois sales tax incentive, which offers a 10.25% savings on the purchase of equipment and software.
